Viral Marketing–Article Sites

Viral marketing
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Viral marketing and viral advertising refer to marketing techniques that use preexisting social networks to produce increases in brand awareness or to achieve other marketing objectives (such as product sales) through self-replicating viral processes, analogous to the spread of pathological and computer viruses. It can be word-of-mouth delivered or enhanced by the network effects of the Internet.[1] Viral marketing is a marketing phenomenon that facilitates and encourages people to pass along a marketing message voluntarily.[2] Viral promotions may take the form of video clips, interactive Flash games, advergames, ebooks, brandable software, images, or even text messages.

It is claimed that a satisfied customer tells an average of three people about a product or service he/she likes, and eleven people about a product or service which he/she did not like.[3] Viral marketing is based on this natural human behavior.

The goal of marketers interested in creating successful viral marketing programs is to identify individuals with high Social Networking Potential (SNP) and create Viral Messages that appeal to this segment of the population and have a high probability of being passed along.

The term “viral marketing” is also sometimes used pejoratively to refer to stealth marketing campaigns[4]–the use of varied kinds of astroturfing both online and offline [5] to create the impression of spontaneous word of mouth enthusiasm.

Article Writing – The Most Effective Viral Marketing There Is!

Article writing is one of the hottest ways of marketing your web site and products BUT like all things in internet marketing you have to do it right to get results.

I’ve searched through tons of these SEO sites and they all say the same thing. Article writing is the end all be all of viral marketing.

We have seen first hand the effects of this type of marketing strategy with all the “weed pulling” we do. I’m sick of it personally.

I feel it is time for these affiliate marketers to know they should at least check out the product or company they are promoting. Then you have these article submission sites popping up as fast as the articles themselves. Are their no scruples left in the whole world of online affiliate marketing?

We have been very lucky getting many of these sites to pull the articles supporting Kimkins. Some just don’t give a flying fig what’s on their site. No matter how many letters they receive from all of us.

So I thought it was time for a big dose of shame on them for our biggest problem makers. I will be adding 2 additional pages to this blog. One will be a “Hall of Shame” for sites who refuse to do anything. The other will be a “Kudos” for all those sites who listen and remove the articles.

Unfortunately I have not kept track of all the sites that have graciously removed the articles. If some of y’all out there have an idea of the sites please email me.

If we can’t reach them by pleading to their sense of what’s right. We’ll find another way of getting their attention……..
